I saw a high school production of Grease today... First off, let me explain what this school is to my high school. My high school wasn't that bad off financially, but this other school makes us look like paupers. See, they have a nuclear plant, so they get HUGE amounts of money from this plant. They have a theater. My school did not have a theater. Our musicals are put on at the community barn theater. So they have a stage, they have equipment, scenery, costumes... Techincally, they're pretty much superior to us in every aspect. That's technically. As far as performance goes, we have remarkably talented people at my old high school. One of my sister's childhood friends is a remarkable soprano, and the rest of the drama club is equally talented. So to watch this rich, upscale, talentless production made me smirk. Quite a bit.
