Jul. 23rd, 2002 09:09 pmI'm getting a lot of reading done this week... Today, the last book in the Jedi Apprentice series (yay!) as well as two TPBs, Wonder Woman: Spirit of Peace and Volume One of Strangers in Paradise.
Jedi Apprentice: This was The Followers, incidentally. Pretty good ending to a good, slashy series. Very slashy. I don't mind Tahl quite so much now, but I still don't like her. And Obi-Wan is just a darling boy, even if Anakin is always a brat. I love this series. I just might read it again. Or, at least, parts of it.
Wonder Woman: I love Wonder Woman. This was one of those big format books illustrated by Alex Ross. And God, I love Alex Ross. That alone made the book great, but the writing was fabulous, like these big format books always are. I have the Shazam book on my waiting list.
Strangers in Paradise: Need more. Now. I need say no more.
I've started listening to my Scarlet Pimpernel Mix CD for the first time in... months. There was a skip on the William Michaels version of Falcon in the Dive. Nearly killed me. And I love William, don't get me wrong, and I would do terrible, awful things to get him to sing Where's the Girl to me... But daamit, I like Terry's version better. He's just... Broadway Sex in that song. Yummy.
