sesanaI got my first tests back from my soc classes! I'm pleased to say that I did quite good. In Individual and Society, I got 28 out of 30, so a 93% A. In Deviant Behavior, I did even better- I got a perfect score. Wow. And better yet, there will no longer be any exams in Individuals and Society. Instead, it'll be a writing based course, which is just fine by me. He's seemed to like the papers I've written so far. So... yay!
I've submitted three papers for my Cultural Dynamics of Technology, but haven't gotten a single one back yet. Damn it. But the prof did mention that he liked my points in my first paper, so I'm hoping that's a good thing. Geology of Ohio? I hate that class. I got a B on the first assignment we got back, and I have another due Tuesday. Which means I have to go on a "field assignment" to what I think is a place that has been affected by glacial activity. Bler. Also have to figure out how many more field trip things I have to do.
So, the total writing is:
Cultural Dynamics of Technology: eight commentaries, one research paper (going to be on the guillotine, and I've already started researching. have to do an outline, though)
Individual and Society: eleven reaction papers
Deviant Behavior: eight reaction papers
Geology of Ohio: at least four field trips, plus an unknown amount of assignments
I feel tired just looking at that list.
