Way behind on reviews, yet again. Let's see, I saw Mafia! and the new VeggieTales Christmas movie, The Star of Christmas, and I read the first book in the New Frontier series and two graphic novels, Scion volume two and Ruse volume one.
Mafia!- What a crappy movie. It was supposed to be a satire of mafia movies, but it just sucked. I don't really like mafia movies anyways, but I think that the Goodpigeons are a much better satire. I never would have watched it if Anthony Crivello wasn't in it, but he was only around for like two minutes at the beginning of the movie, and was forced to be involved in one of the most painful jokes I ever saw. Gah. I hope he fired that agent.
VeggieTales- God, I love VeggieTales. Always cute, always sweet, always funny, always with good songs. Absolutely no exception, but now I want to have a VeggieTales marathon. Oooo, Veggie marathon...
New Frontier: God bless you, Peter David. Now write me another Q novel. I'm loving this thing already.
Scion: I haven't read volume one yet (oops?) but I did enjoy this. Real sword and sorcery type fantasy, which usually isn't a genre I enjoy. But this was interesting, fairly well drawn, good stuff. I might check out more graphic novels as I see them.
Ruse: Loved. Loved loved loved. It's Sherlock Holmes, with an attractive, young, female assistant, who happens to have magical powers. Totally hooked.
My Mom's stuffing is very salty, but I was hungry. Damn.
